hCG-R2 Day 37: VLCD-R2/218.0 lbs

Down -1.4 lbs.

I did a half of an Apple Day yesterday and did drink my required water.

I was half way through the day before I reread the Apple day instructions an found out that on an apple day, you are not supposed to drink very much water. By that time I had already had 3-24 oz glasses of water.

I had 3 apples for lunch.
For dinner last night, I had an Alcapulco Chicken Salad from Jack in the box. I just used the limes included for dressing.

hCG-R2 Day 36: VLCD-R2 Day 33/219.4 lbs

Down -0.6 lbs since Wednesday.

Tammy suggested that I do an apple day to try and break this impass.

I am going to try that today.

Yesterday for lunch was chicken w/ Greek seasoning, tomatoes and an orange. Forgot the grissini.
Dinner was Chicken Breast rolled in grissini crumbs and lightly seasoned with salt and pepper (incredible!), salad and an apple.

I have drank over 100 oz of water the last three days. I am going to really try to drink the correct amount of water over the weekend.

I did not do great over the weekend.

I lost -0.2 lbs since Friday.

This second round has been more difficult to stay faithful and drink the required water.

220.2 lbs up +0.6 lbs from Tuesday.

Not sure what's up.

Yesterday I did pretty good on eating and water.

We'll see what the weekend holds.

Yesterday lunch was chicken, celery, an apple and a grissini.
Dinner was cod, Cauliflower, an apple and a grissini.

I broke the 220 lb barrier!

For lunch I had Chicken, Cabbage soup, a small grapefruit and a grissini.

Last night we had my Mom over for dinner.
We had cod, salad, an apple and a grissini.
(Okay, we also had a small spoon of chocolate mousse that my son Tim Jr made!)

Our church is having a bunch of fundraisers to raise money for a Back to School Blitz event in August and one of the fundraisers is a dessert night. Tim Jr is sponsering a table himself and wanted to try making the chocolate mousse ahead of time. It was delicious!
He said it will be better next time he makes it!

Sorry I didn't blog yesterday.

I had gone up a pound so the loss above is actually a two day culmination.

I was hungry on Thurday and Friday due to two days in a row off of the hCG.

Yesterday for lunch it was chicken, cucumber, and an apple.
For dinner it was taco salad, an apple and a grissini.

220.6 lbs. (-0.8) Total Weight Loss (TWL) -31.2
Fasting blood sugar: 87

No injection yesterday. Tammy and I are attempting to skip two injections per week to hold off immunity. We are skipping Sundays and Wednesdays.

No injection today. I forgot to take my injection this morning!


I drank over 100 oz. of water.

Lunch was chicken, cabbage soup, an apple and a grissini.
Dinner was shrimp, asparagus, an orange, and a grissini.

Back down to my lowest point. (At least according to my scale!)

I have been doing well with drinking my water this week.

Yesterday for lunch I had chicken, cucumbers and tomatoes, an apple and a grissini.
Dinner was a lean sirloin hamburger patty, lettuce and tomato, an orange and a grissini.

hCG-R2 Day 18: VLCD-R2 Day 15

224.0 lbs!

I am starting to not trust this scale!

I went from 221.4 to 224.0 over night.

One contributing factor is that this morning I weighed at 5:30 am and over the weekend I weighed at around 9:30 am.

Aslo, Friday and Saturday I drank at lease 120 oz of water and Sunday I only drank around 80 oz.

We'll see what happens tomorrow morning!

Lunch was Buffalo Chicken Breast, Salad, an apple and a grissini.
Dinner was Taco salad with lean hamburger, an orange and a grissini.

I didn't check my blood sugar this morning.

I lost another 1.2 lbs! It looks like I am off of my plateau.

Yesterday for lunch we had buffalo chicken breasts, salad, an apple and a grissini.
For dinner we had barbequed chicken breasts, salad, an apple and a grissini.

I have lost 33.2 lbs since the start of the VLCD.
Tammy has lost 27.2 lbs since the start of the VLCD.

222.6 lbs (-2.8)

Fasting blood sugar: 80

Finally! I lost 2.8 lbs!

No cheating!

Yesterday I drank 58 ounces at work and then drank 48 ounces at home.

For lunch it was chicken, salad, an apple and a grissini.
Dinner was steak & onions, tomatoes, an orange and a grissini.

I will be much easier to not cheat today after losing 2.8 lbs!

I have lost a total of 29.8 lbs
Tammy has lost 25.8 lbs with no complications with her type 1 diabetes.

hCG-R2 Day 15: VLCD-R2 Day 12

225.4 lbs

I have not done well on Round 2 of the hCG/VLCD.

I have not lost any weight.

I have had a problem with cheating but also I have not consistenly drank the required amount of water.

The funny thing is, that yesterday I had several different people mention how much weight I had lost lately!

The scale says no loss, but my body has lost inches. Go figure.

I am going to really try to keep to the 500 calories and drink the required water today and this weekend!
